Class Descriptions

Chisel-Define your entire body with an hour of lifting, squatting, lunging and more. Chisel is a muscular strength and endurance workout that incorporates a variety of exercises using different equipment.  Learn how hand weights, tubing, gliding discs and weighted bars can help you tone from head to toe.

Cycling-An athletic, indoor cardio adventure. An efficient, calorie torching workout that is easy on the joints.  All levels welcome! Cycling Express–a condensed 30 minute version of cycling.

Cycle/Core- Athletic indoor cycle class. Full of exciting choreography to push past the uncomfortable feeling. Build stamina, great for cardio strength, easy on the joints. All levels welcome. Core portion of class is focused on building strength in the abdominal area. Works the entire abdominal area in various positions to create a nice burn.

Graceful + Grateful- Start the new week filling the heart with Joy & Gratitude. Gentle class for all levels. No experience needed. Stretch, Breathe, Relax & Notice how the body feels.

Gentle Yoga – Slower paced yoga classes that doesn’t flow like a tradition yoga class. Great for beginners or those who are looking to stretch the entire body.

Movement Mix–Movement Mix is a dynamic, weight-free fitness workout that simultaneously lengthens and strengthens every muscle in the body.  It is an easy to follow workout that can benefit those of all fitness levels.  This workout is designed to improve greater joint mobility while developing lean and long muscles.

PilatesAn evolution of traditional mat Pilates and current core conditioning methodology. This class blends the mat work series of Joseph Pilates with the most current core stability and strength exercises. An exciting and challenging class for any fitness level.

Retro Cardio – Shake it! Move it! Dance It! 45 minutes of fun. Let the groove in while you sing & dance to the 70’s. 80’s & sometimes Motown hits. No equipment or experience needed for this class.

Strength in MovementThe perfect blend of strength & stretch that is needed to keep the body in tip top shape as we age: increasing and maintaining muscle mass and flexibility. With Stretch & Strength Silver Style you will learn safe ways to stretch & strengthen your body using light props & body weight.  Get more flexible & help build balance.  Ease sore muscles with gentle movement & look & feel your very best the Fit Way!

Yin Yoga– Take a pause, Take a breather. Slow-paced style of yoga, the asanas (postures) are held for longer period of time than in other yoga classes. Great fir stress, deep connective tissue, increase circulation in releasing joints to help improve flexibility.

YogalatesA perfect blend of Pilates, Yoga and Fitness that gives you the muscle strengthening & toning benefits of Pilates with the meditative and flexibility benefits of yoga.

Yoga Strength-A practice done with weights and resistance increasing muscle strength and creating more muscle tone, bringing more muscle awareness to everyday practice.

Fit Walking Club45 minutes of fast paced walk around the town of Boonsboro. Chat with old friends & meet new in our Fit community. Walk is open to the public & free. Stop to take pictures while enjoying the beauty in our small town.
